Marley Station Mall Announces New General Manager
MARLEY STATION ANNOUNCES NEW GENERAL MANAGER
GLEN BURNIE, MD, April 29, 2013 – The Woodmont Company today announces that John Hess has been appointed General Manager of Marley Station, a prominent shopping destination located in the greater Baltimore area. In his new position Mr. Hess will be responsible for the management and operation of the mall as well as directing the mall’s specialty leasing program.
Mr. Hess brings over 18 years of Commercial Real Estate experience to his new position.
Prior to joining Marley Station, Hess served as Vice President and Mall General Manager for The Rouse Company and held executive positions with Prime Retail, Struever Bros, Eccles & Rouse, and Greenberg Gibbons Commercial. Most recently, Mr. Hess served as National Real Estate Manager for Kiddie Academy, a nationwide provider of child care learning facilities. Earlier in his career Mr. Hess owned Hess Apparel, a nine store women’s apparel chain based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Hess and his wife live in Baltimore and they have two grown children
