New 8-Screen Movie Theatre Open at Marley Station Mall

Horizon Cinemas newly renovated the theatres, creating special promotions for guests

BALTIMORE (June 16, 2014) – On Friday, June 20, Marley Station Movies will officially open its doors at 10:30 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Horizon Cinemas owner Ira Miller, Marley Station General Manager John Hess and elected officials will be in attendance to welcome the community and commemorate the grand opening.  Guests in attendance will have the opportunity to enter multiple raffle giveaways and will receive gift bags including exclusive store deals, coupons and complimentary items. Additionally, the first 100 people to arrive will receive a complimentary movie pass to be used towards a movie of their choice on July 13, 2014. Both Chick-Fil-A and Auntie Anne's mascots will also be in attendance and available for photos.

Renovations include a new lobby, updated bathrooms, and the installation of all-new digital projectors with 3D capabilities, which will provide customers with the best movie-watching experience. Marley Station Movies will re-open to the public with four renovated theatres – all which have been completely updated to include new, comfortable seats with extra legroom and modernized flooring. The new lobby will feature state-of-the-art digital signage and upgraded concession options.  The additional four theatres will be renovated by the end of the summer.
